SacraDuo is a Catholic dating app for people looking for a relationship oriented toward marriage. We're building a place that is honest and reverent, designed with your safety in mind, where you can meet someone who is good for your soul.

We're building an ID check into SacraDuo. When it's ready you'll be able to confirm who you are with a photo of your ID, and it shows as a badge on your profile, never a fee you pay to be seen. It tells you someone is who they say they are. It is not a background check.
If two people like each other, they can talk. Messaging between mutual matches is free on SacraDuo, and so is everything to do with your safety. We will not charge you to reply to someone who already likes you back.
The essentials on SacraDuo are free: finding people, matching, and messaging never cost anything. Later there will be an optional subscription for extras, at one clear price. No hidden fees, no invented urgency, and no complicated cancel process. If you ever subscribe, leaving takes one click.
We don't measure success by time in the app. We're built to help you find your person, marry, and delete SacraDuo.

SacraDuo began with a father who watched someone he loves get hurt by what's out there. The apps put people in front of her who were not good for her soul, and they were built to keep her swiping rather than help her find a husband.
So he set out to build the app he wishes had existed for her, and for everyone else's children too. That story is behind every hard choice we make: real people, matching on faith and character, and a flat refusal of the manipulative patterns that hurt the people we love.
We are not trying to keep you swiping. We are trying to help you get married and leave.

No. We do not run criminal background checks on members, and no dating app can tell you that a person is safe. We're building an ID check so you'll be able to know the person you're talking to is the person in the photos. Meet in public the first time, tell someone where you are going, and trust your judgment.
